The short answer
Paloren provides managed AI services for companies with live AI systems that need monitoring, maintenance and quality checks after launch, so the system stays useful as sources change and new questions arrive.

Paloren provides managed AI services that keep live AI systems useful after launch. Support covers monitoring, fault investigation, connection maintenance and quality checks, starting at USD 2,500 per month for 10 hours with faults acknowledged within 4 business hours.
What this can change for your team
- System monitored and maintained after launch
- Connection changes handled before they cause failures
- Quality checked against sources on a defined cycle

What do managed AI services include?
Monitoring, fault investigation, connection maintenance and quality checks.
How we make this work
Paloren’s managed AI support covers the operational work that keeps an AI system useful after launch. Monitoring tracks whether connected sources are available and whether the system is producing results. Fault investigation identifies why a connection failed or an answer degraded. Connection maintenance updates API credentials, adjusts for API changes and manages scheduled syncs. Quality checks review a sample of outputs against the source to catch drift in accuracy. These services are scoped separately from the initial build.
- Monitoring for source availability and output
- Fault investigation and connection maintenance
- Periodic quality checks against source

Why do AI systems need ongoing support?
Sources change, APIs update and new question types appear.
How we make this work
An AI system connected to live business data is not static. A CRM record is updated, an API endpoint changes, a policy document is replaced, a new type of question arrives that the knowledge does not cover. Without ongoing support, the system degrades silently: answers become stale, connections fail without notice and quality drifts. Paloren provides managed services so these changes are handled before they become a problem the team discovers when the system gives a wrong answer.
- Sources and APIs change over time
- New question types emerge after launch
- Support handles changes before they cause failures

What is the response time for managed support?
Faults are acknowledged within 4 business hours.
How we make this work
Paloren’s managed support agreement specifies that faults are acknowledged within 4 business hours. Acknowledgment means the support team has received the alert or report and is investigating. Resolution time depends on the complexity of the fault: an expired API key is resolved faster than a changed API response format. The support agreement documents what is included: monitoring, incident handling, platform updates and change requests. It also documents what is excluded, so expectations are clear before the engagement starts.
- Faults acknowledged within 4 business hours
- Resolution time depends on complexity
- Included and excluded services documented

How are connection changes handled?
Monitored, investigated and updated through support or a change request.
How we make this work
When an API changes or a source becomes unavailable, Paloren’s monitoring detects the failure and an alert is generated. The support team investigates: is it a temporary outage, an expired credential or a permanent API change? Temporary issues resolve as the source recovers. Credential updates are handled through support. Permanent API changes may require a scoped change request, which the support agreement defines. This process keeps the connections maintained rather than assuming they will never break.
- Monitoring detects connection failures
- Temporary and permanent changes distinguished
- Major changes scoped as change requests

What is a quality check?
A periodic review of AI outputs against their source records.
How we make this work
Paloren’s quality check samples a set of AI outputs and compares them against the source records they were based on. The check assesses whether the answers are still correct, whether permissions are being respected and whether the sources have changed in ways the system has not reflected. The frequency depends on how fast the underlying data changes. A system connected to a stable product catalogue needs fewer checks than one connected to rapidly changing service policies. The support agreement defines the check frequency.
- Sample of outputs compared to sources
- Checks for accuracy, permissions and staleness
- Frequency defined in the support agreement

How much do managed AI services cost?
Support starts at USD 2,500 per month for 10 hours.
How we make this work
Paloren scopes managed AI support at from USD 2,500 per month for 10 hours. The scope includes monitoring, fault investigation, connection maintenance and quality checks within the agreed hours. If the system requires more hours due to complexity or volume, the support scope is adjusted. The agreement documents what is included, what is excluded and how additional work is scoped. This transparent model prevents the situation where support becomes an uncontrolled cost centre.
- Support: from USD 2,500 per month for 10 hours
- Monitoring, investigation and quality checks included
- Additional work scoped through change requests

What does the team need to do alongside managed support?
Report issues, review outputs and manage internal knowledge updates.
How we make this work
Managed support handles the technical maintenance, but the team still plays a role. They report issues they notice, review AI outputs in their daily work and manage the internal knowledge updates that only they can do: a new policy, a product change, a process revision. The operating model documents this shared responsibility so the support team and the business team each know what they own. Paloren provides training on how to report issues and how to review outputs effectively.
- Team reports issues they notice
- Team reviews outputs in daily work
- Team manages internal knowledge updates

What happens during a fault investigation?
The support team identifies why a connection failed or an answer degraded.
How we make this work
When monitoring detects a fault, the support team investigates. The investigation determines whether the issue is a temporary outage, an expired credential, a changed API response format or a data quality problem. Temporary issues resolve as the source recovers. Credential issues are fixed through the support scope. Format changes may require an integration update, which is scoped as a change request if significant. The investigation is documented so the team knows what happened and what was done.
- Cause identified and documented
- Temporary issues resolved as sources recover
- Format changes scoped as change requests

What is a change request in managed support?
A scoped request to modify the system beyond routine maintenance.
How we make this work
A change request is a formal request to modify the AI system beyond what the standard support agreement covers. It might involve connecting a new system, changing the workflow logic or adding a new capability. Paloren scopes change requests separately because they require assessment, design, testing and documentation beyond routine maintenance. The support agreement defines how change requests are handled, so the process is clear before the need arises.
- Beyond routine maintenance scope
- Assessed, designed, tested and documented
- Process defined in the support agreement

Before we begin
Questions we get asked, answered with numbers
Do we need managed support if we built the system ourselves?
It depends on whether your team can maintain it. If someone in-house can monitor connections, investigate faults and update credentials, managed support may not be necessary. If the build was delivered by an external team and nobody in-house has the documentation or the access to maintain it, managed support prevents the system from degrading.
What happens if a fault occurs outside business hours?
Monitoring detects the failure and records the alert. The support team investigates during the next business window. If the fault affects a customer-facing system, the support agreement can include an on-call arrangement, which is scoped separately from the standard agreement.
How are platform updates handled?
Paloren monitors the AI platforms and connected systems for updates that affect the build. Where an update requires a configuration change, it is handled through support. Where an update changes the system’s behaviour significantly, it is communicated to the team and scoped as a change request if needed.
Can we reduce the support scope after the first few months?
Yes. The support agreement can be adjusted based on how stable the system is. A system that has been running well for six months may need fewer hours than one that was recently launched. Paloren reviews the support scope periodically and adjusts it based on the evidence.
What is included in the 10 hours per month?
Monitoring, fault investigation, connection maintenance, credential updates and periodic quality checks within the agreed hours. Platform updates that require configuration are also included. Change requests that add new features or connect new systems are scoped separately.
What if we need more than 10 hours in a month?
The support agreement can include an hourly rate for additional work beyond the base allocation. Alternatively, the support scope can be increased for a defined period if the system is going through significant change. The proposal documents how additional hours are handled.
Does managed support include training for new team members?
Basic orientation for new team members is included within the support hours. A full training programme for a new cohort is scoped separately, as it involves preparation and delivery time beyond routine support work.
